Pet Health Dental Care

Pets can suffer some of the same dental problems that humans do, and we know that can be devastating for good health.  Poor dental health is directly linked to liver, kidney, and even heart disease.

Periodontal disease is the most common disease in dogs and cats.  About 85% of dogs and cats have some form of it and are vulnerable to pain, bad breath, and tooth loss- the same as people.  As Periodontal disease gets worse chronic infections can and will spread to the liver, lungs, kidneys, and heart.

Ways to Prevent Pariodontal Disease

Take your dog or cat in once a year for a dental prophy.  This includes a thorough exam, scaling, polishing, and sealing with ORAVET.

ORAVET is a sealent that provides continuous protection after the dental by preventing plaque build-up on the surface of the gums and teeth. To prolong the length of time the ORAVET stays on the teeth we recommend you use the take-home kit and apply it to your pet's teeth once a week.
